You can use your own email client of choice when checking email.
Use mail.yourdomain.com (Where yourdomain.com is your site)
username: user@yourdomain.com (This is the username setup in your mail section on cpanel, replace yourdomain.com with your site)
password: as defined in your mail settings,
(You can use the same settings to check webmail at http://yourdomain.com/webmail)
(Alternatively you can use port 8888 for SMTP settings if your ISP blocks port 25)
